This support will enable them to enhance the facilities and improve the camp experience for all attendees. Below is a timeline outlining the projects they will undertake using these resources:
January - March - New well put in near the wilderness camp.
January -May - New Waste Treatment Plant, New Septic Lines and Manholes will be installed.
March-May - New Cabin will be built, sleeping 18.

Even with such a great blessing of the Lilly Endowment some things will not be covered.
Despite the outlined projects, Hanging Rock Church Camp still needs your support. They are reaching out to churches and individual support ers to help offset the costs of running the camp. Your contributions are vital for them to continue providing a nurturing environment where kids can learn and grow in Christ. As they seek to keep camp accessible, we encourage you to consider how you can partner with them. Your support enables them to maintain the quality of their camp and ensure an enriching experience for all campers.
Please know, they want to continue to offer camp at an affordable rate to reach as many as possible with the Gospel of Christ.
Footprints of the Son As we step into a new year filled with hope and possibilities, our mission focus for January shines brightly on a remarkable initiative: Footprints of the Son. This inclusive school is dedicated to serving all children in Haiti, particularly those with special needs. Located in one of the country’s most underserved areas, Footprints of the Son not only provides education but also fosters an environment of acceptance and love for every child, regardless of their abilities.
The importance of inclusive education cannot be overstated. For many children with special needs in Haiti, opportunities for learning and social interaction are limited. Footprints of the Son breaks down those barriers, offering these children a safe space to grow, learn, and thrive alongside their peers. By supporting this mission, we not only change individual lives but also uplift entire communities through education and inclusivity.
Many members of our congregation have already taken steps to make a difference by sponsoring children attending this incredible school. Each sponsorship provides critical resources, from basic educational materials to necessary therapeutic services that help each child reach their full potential. Our church is proud to play a significant role in providing financial support for the vital work being carried out at Footprints of the Son, ensuring that these children receive the quality education they deserve.
If you have been seeking a meaningful way to give back this year, consider joining us in this impactful ministry by sponsoring a child at Footprints of the Son. Your commitment to this cause can be incredibly rewarding—not just for the child you sponsor, but for you as well. Sponsoring a child opens up a world of connection and understanding. It allows you to witness the direct impact your support has on someone’s life and cultivates a sense of belonging to a global community dedicated to making the world a better place.
Imagine the joy of receiving updates about your sponsored child’s progress, celebrating their achievements, and knowing that you played a vital role in their journey. Your support directly contributes to their education, health, and wellbeing, propelling them towards a brighter future. The ripples of your generosity extend beyond the child; they strengthen families and, ultimately, the community, as educated individuals are better equipped to uplift those around them.
Should you have any questions or wish to learn more about Footprints of the Son and how you can get involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Lisa Vitaniemi. She is eager to share more details about this impactful initiative and how you can help make a lasting difference in the lives of these children.
As we embark on this new year, let us embrace the opportunity to extend our hands and hearts to those in need. Together, we can create a legacy of love, support, and transformation in Haiti through our dedicated partnership with Footprints of the Son. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact—your involvement could change a child’s life forever.
