Investing in Faith, Growth, and Future Generations
As a congregation, we believe that spiritual growth does not happen only within the walls of our church building. God often uses special places and intentional times away from daily routines to shape hearts, deepen faith, and call people closer to Him. One of those places for us is Hanging Rock Church Camp.
More Than a Summer Experience While summer camp is often the most visible part of Hanging Rock’s ministry, its impact extends far beyond a few weeks each year.
Throughout the year, the camp serves churches, youth groups, retreats, leadership training events, and special gatherings. Each of these opportunities provides space for spiritual renewal and deeper connection within the body of Christ.
The camp environment helps remove distractions and creates space for meaningful conversations, honest questions, and genuine encounters with God. In a world that is often fast-paced and noisy, Hanging Rock offers something rare: time to slow down and listen to the Lord.
A Ministry Rooted in Partnership Hanging Rock Church Camp is not just a standalone organization—it is a ministry that serves the broader Church.
Local congregations, like ours, partner with the camp by sending campers, supporting programs, volunteering time, and contributing financially. This partnership allows the camp to remain focused on its mission while churches continue discipling people throughout the year.

International Disaster Emergency Services
Our partnership with IDES reflects who we strive to be as a church: a people who care deeply, serve generously, and point others to Jesus.
For more than 50 years, IDES has been responding to human need around the world—beginning with a cyclone relief effort in Bangladesh and growing into a global ministry of compassion and discipleship.
And remarkably, much of that work is coordinated in Noblesville.
This gives us a unique opportunity: to serve locally while impacting globally.
As we continue to support IDES, may we remember that we are not simply funding a ministry—we are joining God in bringing help and hope in the name of Jesus Christ to a hurting world.

The Caring Center provides a broad range of support services for individuals and families in crisis throughout Boone County. Their mission centers on helping
people facing food insecurity, situational poverty, and generational poverty move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.

AFD2
ADF2 is a food pantry providing a helping hand to Advance and the surrounding areas. This food pantry is open once a month and open to all residents of Boone County. The drive up food pantry is located at the Advance Fire Department, 106 E. Wall Street Advance IN 46102. Missions we support through the year.
Each month, we send financial support to a specific mission both here at home and aboard. These missions include:
- Love in the Name of Christ of Boone County (LOVE, INC.)
- Hope for His Children in Africa
- Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia
- Foot Prints in the Son in Haiti
- The Gideon’s International
- Hanging Rock Christian Assembly in West Lebanon, Indiana
- Local benevolence and emergency funds.
Footprints of the Son
January mission focus is Footprints of the Son. An all inclusive school for all children including those with special needs in Haiti. Several in our congregation sponsor children in the school. The Church also financially supports their work. Maybe you are feeling led to sponsor a child on your own. This is a great way to support the ministry as well. If you have questions please ask Lisa Vitaniemi for details about Footprints of the Son .

Shalom House
The Shalom Community of Lebanon who sponsor the Shalom House Food Program, which provides hot meals to Boone County residents at the Shalom House in Lebanon, also provide a sack lunch food program to children throughout Boone County during the summer months and other school breaks. This programs provide food free to those in need.
We have been actively involved in giving of both our time and money to this worthy outreach to our community. Please watch for our next sign up sheet to volunteer.
